Healthy Families
Raccoon plush toys are being included in new family baskets, as reading incentives, and giveaways at the annual picnic.

ReadUP
ReadUP is part of United Way of Central Indiana's comprehensive focus on early childhood and adolescent development. Children who cannot read are more likely to drop out of school. This program connects volunteer tutors with Indianapolis Public Schools (IPS) 4th- and 5th-graders who need help reading. Volunteer tutors work with these students on vocabulary, fluency and comprehension to enhance their skill level one hour per week for the school year.
